Five Statements About the Process of
Vision
The goal is to master the process of vision
so that any transition needed in the future
can be faced with confidence.
1. The process of vision is _____________________________.
• Vision is a process, not a product.
• Vision is a journey, not a destination.
Vision Cycle
Becoming purpose driven is not a one-time event; it is a way of doing church.
TRANSITIONING…. Page | 3
Make one change at a time. Take that change all the way through the cycle.
Then restart the cycle with the next change.
One of the dangers in seeing God’s vision take root in the church is that we
again settle in and get content.
2. The process of vision is _____________________________.
• You never graduate from the school of vision.
• God always has something new and fresh to do in and through us.
18 “Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
3. The process of vision is _____________________________.
• The greatest change in the Book of Nehemiah was in Nehemiah himself.
• If you join God in the vision process He has for your church, the greatest
change will be in you.
4. The process of vision is _____________________________.
• Once you become a carrier of God’s vision, you will infect those around
you.
• When God captures your heart with His vision, He will use you to capture
the hearts of others as well.
5. The process of vision is _____________________________.
• God’s principles work in any setting because they are God’s principles.
